Another statement from Fenerbahçe: Legal action will be initiated

Fenerbahçe Board Member Ali Alper Alpoğlu has issued a statement regarding attempts by certain circles to associate the armed attack on Serhat Akın with the club. 

In a post on his social media account, Alpoğlu announced that such allegations are nothing more than slander and that legal proceedings have been initiated.

LEGAL ACTION INITIATED

The following statements were included in Ali Alper Alpoğlu's announcement:

"It is observed that the heinous attack on our former football player Serhat Akın is being attempted to be associated with our club by certain factions. As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, I would like to inform the public that we have initiated all kinds of legal proceedings against all individuals who have put forward these vile slanders. We once again condemn the attack on Serhat Akın and expect the perpetrators and those behind them to be held accountable before justice as soon as possible."
