Another statement from Maximin, who made headlines with doping allegations!
Allan Saint-Maximin, who recently made headlines with doping accusations against Fenerbahçe, has made another statement on his social media account.
French star Allan Saint-Maximin, one of Fenerbahçe's former players, has returned to the spotlight with a statement he made on his social media account.
In a post on his personal account, the 28-year-old footballer stated, "Never argue with a liar. You can't win because they believe their own lies. The truth will come out." Maximin's outburst, which he accompanied with yellow and navy blue heart emojis and an hourglass symbol, has sparked new debates in the public eye.
HE HAD MADE HEADLINES WITH DOPING ALLEGATIONS
In recent days, Saint-Maximin made striking claims regarding his time at Fenerbahçe, alleging that there was an attempt to dope him at the club. In his statement, he had said:
"They tried to dope me there, I'm telling you this to show you how serious it is. And these are things people don't know, things I haven't talked about or you haven't talked about, because you are also being threatened. They tell you clearly, if you talk, we will do this to you, we will do that to you. And inevitably you reach a point, you experience certain things, you face certain things and you say, this is something beyond football."

Maximin continued his remarks with the following sentences:
"In the end, we had some conversations, we learned that the relevant people had also received instructions, then actually you don't know anymore, you don't know what happened. Everything gets blurry. It actually gets blurry, but you say 'Did they really do it on purpose? Is this normal?' You find yourself among those trying to inject you with things. You find yourself in crazy things, I experienced crazy things there. And these are of course things people don't know, these of course affected me a lot and as I said, all these non-sporting things, all these things happening outside, also affected my family, frankly these are unhealthy things, you cannot play in such good conditions."
HE TOOK A STEP BACK
Following the intense reactions to his statements, Saint-Maximin made another post to try and clarify his remarks. In his second statement, the French player said:
"I see all kinds of comments being made on Twitter, so I want to clarify what I said. I was talking about people around the club who are ready for anything. When I was sick, I was directed toward a treatment that is almost considered doping. I don't know with what intention this medical team did this."
FENERBAHÇE RESPONDED HARSHLY
The response to Maximin's allegations was not delayed. The yellow-navy club criticized the player's statements in harsh language in a statement on its official website:
"We have followed with astonishment the statements made by Allan Saint-Maximin, who wore our jersey in the 2024-25 season, on a social media platform.
The athlete's distortion of the facts regarding the treatment process applied to him following a health issue he experienced is an attempt aimed at damaging our club's reputation.
As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we would like to inform the public that we will exercise all our legal rights against the misleading of the public and the distorted statements directed at our corporate reputation."
