Archie Brown recounts the process of joining Fenerbahçe

English footballer Archie Brown, who recently joined Fenerbahçe's squad, stated in comments to the club's television channel that he feels at home in Istanbul. Brown said, "I received a warm welcome from the very first moment, and that made me very happy."

Brown expressed that he immediately noticed the magnitude of Fenerbahçe and the passion of the fans, adding, "My first days have been wonderful." He emphasized that while other clubs were interested in him during the transfer process, Fenerbahçe's interest in him was the deciding factor. He said that after his discussions with Devin Özek, he understood how much Fenerbahçe wanted him.

Brown noted that President Ali Koç made him feel that a special season was being prepared. "I love competition and I can perform at my best under pressure," said Brown, explaining that he chose Fenerbahçe after his conversations with Ali Koç and Devin Özek.

Discussing his plans to settle in Istanbul, Brown said, "I haven't had the chance to taste lahmacun yet, but I want to try it when I return to Istanbul." He added that he went to Portugal after spending a few days in Istanbul and plans to bring his family to Istanbul as well.

Sharing his thoughts on Jose Mourinho, Brown said, "Mourinho is very kind and open to communication. Working with him is a great opportunity." He noted that his teammates have been very helpful during his adaptation process and that communication is good.

Finally, addressing the fans, Brown stated that he feels more comfortable in the left-back position and enjoys contributing to the offense. "We will need our fans' support very much. We will experience ups and downs throughout the season, but I hope our successes will be greater," he said, calling for the fans' support.
