Arda Güler did not participate in the national team training

The Turkish National Football Team, which will face Portugal on Saturday, June 22, in the second match of Group F at the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024), continued its preparations.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, the training session held at the camp center in Barsinghausen under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella was closed to the press.

Following the warm-up session in the fitness gym, the players moved to the pitch. The training, which began with ball-work warm-ups, continued with tactical drills and concluded with a tactical game on a full-sized pitch.

ARDA GÜLER AND İRFAN CAN KAHVECİ DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING

Arda Güler did not join the training as he was rested due to fatigue, while İrfan Can Kahveci, who is continuing his treatment, worked separately from the team.

Hamit Altıntop, the Board Member in charge of National Teams, also watched the training session.

The Crescent-Stars will travel by air from Hannover to Dortmund tomorrow at 17:15 TSI. The national team players will take a walk at the BVB Stadium, where the Turkey-Portugal match will be played, at 20:45 TSI. Head Coach Vincenzo Montella and national player Kerem Aktürkoğlu will hold a press conference at the stadium at 21:00 TSI.
