Real Madrid's young talent Arda Güler is set to make his debut for the Spanish giants. Expected to take the field in tomorrow's Copa del Rey match, Arda Güler faces risks due to the concerning state of Arandina's pitch.
Arda Güler, who transferred from Fenerbahçe to Real Madrid at the beginning of the 2023-24 season for 20+10 million euros, has not yet played an official match for the Spanish team.
After overcoming a series of consecutive injuries, Arda Güler was included in the squad for the recent Mallorca match but was not fielded by head coach Ancelotti.
THE YOUNG STAR WILL TAKE THE STAGE
However, Arda Güler is expected to take the stage in tomorrow's Copa del Rey round of 32 match. According to a report in Mundo Deportivo, while Arda Güler is expected to play in the Arandina-Real Madrid match, the concerning state of Arandina's pitch is a topic of discussion.
Arandina advanced to this round by eliminating Cadiz in the previous round of the Copa del Rey. However, the poor conditions of the stadium's pitch were captured by a fan's camera during the match played on December 7, which ended 2-1 in favor of Arandina. This situation is seen as a danger that could negatively affect Arda Güler's performance.
LONG LIVE WATER FOOTBALL!
The post shared by the fan included the statement, "Arandina-Cádiz is proving to be much more fun than 99% of 1st and 2nd division matches. Long live water football."
