Arda Güler's grandfather responds to Galatasaray claims
Arda Güler's grandfather, Mehmet Ali Güler, has responded to the Galatasaray rumors circulating about the young footballer.
The Turkish National Football Team defeated Iceland 3-1 in the UEFA Nations League.
Following the match, Arda Güler's grandfather, Mehmet Ali Güler, spoke about his grandson's future.
Speaking to Beyaz TV, Mehmet Ali Güler said, "I came to the national match for my grandson. God granted us this, and we won with a score of 3-1. I have been on my feet since 9 a.m.; I came here from Mengen for Arda. Greetings to all the Turkish people. Prayers are for Arda Güler. Hopefully, he will reach even better places. Arda has been chasing a ball since he was 3-4 years old."
RESPONSE TO GALATASARAY CLAIMS
In response to the question, "Will he come to Turkey? Are the Galatasaray rumors true?" Ali Güler stated, "There is no such thing. All of those are baseless. Arda Güler will get much more playing time at Real Madrid this year. Arda's path is opening up at Real Madrid. I think he has some physical deficiencies. He will be better this year. No one should say he is coming to Galatasaray or Fenerbahçe. He will not come to Turkey anymore."
