Arsenal wins the North London derby

In the 35th week of the Premier League, Tottenham hosted Arsenal in the North London derby.

The visiting team took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute with an own goal by Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg, and finished the first half with a 3-0 lead following goals from Bukayo Saka in the 27th minute and Kai Havertz in the 38th minute. Increasing their pressure in the second half, the home team brought the score to 3-1 with a goal from Cristian Romero in the 64th minute. Tottenham reduced the deficit to 1 in the 87th minute with a penalty goal from Heung-min Son. As there were no more goals in the remaining minutes, Arsenal won the derby 3-2.

With this result, Mikel Arteta's side increased their points to 80 and maintained their lead with a game in hand. Tottenham remained in 5th place with 60 points.
