Arthur Masuaku, who left Beşiktaş, has returned to the Premier League by signing a two-year contract with Sunderland.
Arthur Masuaku, who became a free agent after his contract with Beşiktaş expired, has reached an agreement with Sunderland, one of England's historic clubs. The Democratic Republic of the Congo international is the 10th player Sunderland has added to its squad during the summer transfer window.
In a statement regarding his new club, Masuaku said, "I am very excited to be at Sunderland, and returning to the Premier League makes me happy. It is clear that Sunderland is a big club, and I am grateful for this opportunity. My three years in Turkey were good, but now I am looking forward to a new adventure."
Last season, Masuaku played in 47 matches for Beşiktaş, recording 1 goal and 10 assists.
