This is how Atletico announced the Ademola Lookman transfer
Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid has completed the transfer of Ademola Lookman, who was playing for Italian Serie A club Atalanta.
In a statement released by the Spanish club, it was announced that a contract has been signed with the Nigerian player until June 30, 2030, stating, "A 28-year-old, versatile and dynamic right-footed player, he can play on both sides as both a second striker and a winger; he makes the best use of his speed and dribbling ability by cutting inside or staying in his natural position."
Lookman, who has played for Charlton, Everton, Leipzig, Fulham, Leicester City, and Atalanta during his career, won the UEFA Europa League title with Atalanta in the 2023/24 season.
According to the Spanish press, Atletico Madrid will pay a transfer fee of 35 million euros to the Italian club for this move.
