The A National Football Team will face Austria in a friendly match in Vienna tomorrow as part of their preparations for the 2024 European Football Championship. Austria head coach Ralf Rangnick made statements at the press conference held before the match. Stating that they want to maintain the momentum they have built, the experienced coach said, "It is a different kind of excitement for us. These are test matches. Even if it is a friendly match, we need to keep the system we have established at a very good level. The boys are already handling this very well. The only thing we need is to continue this atmosphere."
AN ATTACKING TEAM
Expressing that the A National Football Team plays more compactly and offensively under Vincenzo Montella, Rangnick said, "In the recent matches, we saw a more compact field formation compared to the Germany match. These are the final test matches before EURO 2024. Therefore, the match we will play against Turkey is important for the system we are building step by step. We will face a team as ambitious as Germany. Especially after Montella's arrival, they are a more compact, more attacking team that uses players more individually. But our goal for tomorrow is to get a good result."
