Award for Okay Yokuşlu in England: Voted goal of the month!

The English Championship's best of March have been announced. The goal scored by national footballer Okay Yokuşlu, who plays for West Bromwich Albion, in the match where they defeated Huddersfield 4-1, has been chosen as the best goal of the month in the league. 

Speaking to the Championship's official website regarding the matter, Okay said, "I am really happy and proud to have won this award. The goal was a great moment for the team and it was great for me too, because it was my birthday the day before and this was a perfect gift. I remember the moment I struck it, I was quite sure it would be a goal. It was a very good goal and probably one of the best goals I have ever scored" he stated.

The 30-year-old footballer surpassed his teammate Mikey Johnston, Gabriel Sara from Norwich City, and Jimmy Dunne from QPR in the rankings.

Okay, who has appeared in 44 matches for West Bromwich Albion this season, has contributed 1 goal and 1 assist.
