Aykut Kocaman reveals his Super Lig title favorite!

Former Fenerbahçe manager Aykut Kocaman has revealed his favorite for the Super Lig title this season. Kocaman stated that Galatasaray is 51 percent ahead in the championship race. 

A VERY INTERESTING PROCESS 

Stating that both teams have achieved a very high points average, Kocaman noted that he has never witnessed a league like this before, saying, "I don't remember a league where two teams are averaging over 2.6 points, where both teams have pulled away from the rest, and yet it is still this neck-and-neck. It is a very interesting process. It looks like it will continue this way until the Galatasaray - Fenerbahçe match," he said. 

THE FIXTURE HAS TURNED AGAINST FENERBAHÇE

Evaluating the final 10-match fixture for both teams in the Super Lig, Kocaman stated that Fenerbahçe's schedule is much tougher compared to Galatasaray's, noting, "After Galatasaray defeated Beşiktaş, the fixture seems to have turned a bit against Fenerbahçe. In Fenerbahçe's next 10 matches, they have an away game at Trabzon, an away game at Galatasaray, and they will play Beşiktaş at home," he expressed. 

GALATASARAY IS THE 51 PERCENT FAVORITE 

Stating that when looking at the Super Lig fixture, he sees Galatasaray one step ahead in the title race, Kocaman continued his words as follows: "The difficulty level of the next 10 matches and the current situation is a major disadvantage for Fenerbahçe on the road to the championship. If they can mentally process the difficulty of the fixture and generate energy accordingly, they could turn this around. But as a probability, looking at the current trend, the situation currently seems to be against Fenerbahçe if viewed from a 51 percent perspective."

"GALATASARAY HAS FINISHED THE DIFFICULT PROCESS"

Stating that Galatasaray has left its difficult fixture behind, Aykut Kocaman said, "Galatasaray has actually finished a difficult process in terms of the fixture. Now, their path is relatively clearer, especially considering they will play the Fenerbahçe match at their own home ground." 

THE BALANCE COULD SHIFT IN FENERBAHÇE'S FAVOR

Noting that if Galatasaray acts with the feeling that they will become champions regardless, Fenerbahçe could move ahead in the title race, Kocaman said, "It is possible that what I said for Fenerbahçe could have the opposite effect for Galatasaray. If the 'somehow' feeling enters the minds of a few key players, even if not the whole group, and the feeling that 'our remaining matches are easy, we are already playing Fener at home' prevails, then the balance could unexpectedly shift 51 percent toward Fenerbahçe," he stated.

"THE BIGGEST MISFORTUNE FOR GALATASARAY AND FENERBAHÇE..."

Noting that the biggest misfortune for Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe is each other, Kocaman said, "It seems that the focus of the groups on the matches will come to the fore from now on. There is no such figure; the points average is exceeding 2.6. Currently, Fenerbahçe's biggest misfortune is having such a Galatasaray, and Galatasaray's biggest misfortune is having such a Fenerbahçe. Otherwise, they could have already declared the championship by now. They could have been in a... position," he said.
