In Fenerbahçe, presidential candidates Aziz Yıldırım and Ali Koç are finalizing their board of directors lists.

Who is Selim Kosif?

Selim Kosif, whose family roots trace back to Rize, was born in Istanbul in 1964. After high school, he pursued higher education briefly in Germany before completing it in Los Angeles, USA. Selim Kosif is a Board Member of the Kosifler Group, a company founded by his family in the 1970s that began with construction and maritime shipping, later entering automotive dealerships in 1984 and recently standing out with hotel investments.

Selim Kosif joined the board of directors as a substitute member (in charge of Advertising, Marketing, and Resource Creation – Women's Basketball Branch) in November 2013, when Aziz Yıldırım, who had been serving as president of Fenerbahçe Sports Club since 1998, was elected president for the 11th time. Kosif, who continued his duties as a substitute member on the board during Aziz Yıldırım's 12th presidential term (as deputy in charge of advertising and marketing), saw these roles end on June 3, 2018, when Aziz Yıldırım, on whose list he was included, lost the presidency to Ali Koç at the Fenerbahçe Ordinary Elective General Assembly.

Who is Şevket Yılmaz?

He is a former Fenerbahçe Board Member and the Founding President of the Fenerbahçe 2000 Association.
