"MY DAUGHTER WAS TARGETED"

Aziz Yıldırım said that developments regarding his family were influential in his decision to finalize his candidacy. Stating that his daughter, Yaz Yıldırım, was targeted, Yıldırım used the following expressions:

"The point reached is not encouraging at all. This was upsetting me and my friends very much. While this process was ongoing, some circles targeted my daughter a while ago. That day, I stopped thinking and talking. I got the message of this matter. This was a 'conscious act' against me. It is normal for me to be targeted, but it upset me a lot that my daughter was targeted. I said, 'Okay, this is over,' and I started working by telling my friends that I was now a candidate."

"PRIMARY GOAL IS UNITY"

Expressing that he wants to restore the environment of unity in the community rather than the goal of the presidency, Aziz Yıldırım continued his statements as follows:

"My goal is not the presidency; my primary goal is unity at Fenerbahçe. There has been too much fragmentation and division. I want to eliminate this fragmentation after many years. For that, I invite everyone to unite and to common sense. I invite everyone to be a Fenerbahçe supporter, not 'this or that'. As an elder of the community, I can do this."

RESPONSE TO AYDINLAR CLAIMS

Aziz Yıldırım also denied the allegations that he met with Mehmet Ali Aydınlar. Speaking on the subject, Yıldırım said, "Claims were made that I came together and met with Mehmet Ali Aydınlar recently. There is no such thing. This is completely baseless."
