Responding to a social media post by a fan who stated that Mario Balotelli should start in the first 11, Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak stated that the experienced footballer is suffering from an injury.
Stating that Balotelli is in the squad when needed, President Murat Sancak announced that they will not be able to benefit from the Italian star for a while, saying, "He is out for 2-3 months."
Balotelli, who was transferred for free from Monza in 2021, was transferred to Sion a year later for 2.62 million euros. The Italian player returned to Adana Demirspor this summer transfer window without a transfer fee. The 33-year-old star footballer has appeared in 5 matches in the Süper Lig this season and scored 3 goals.
