Bad news for Al-Musrati, injured in Ajax match
Beşiktaş has announced that midfielder Al-Musrati, who was injured during the UEFA Europa League match against Ajax, has been diagnosed with a strain and edema in his left adductor longus muscle.
Beşiktaş was defeated 4-0 by Ajax in the first week of the UEFA Europa League.
The medical status of Al-Musrati, who felt pain in his left groin during the match and could not continue, has been determined.
In a statement released by the Black and Whites, it was noted that the Libyan footballer was diagnosed with a strain and edema in his left inner thigh muscle.
The statement from Beşiktaş is as follows:
"Following an MRI scan at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, our player Al-Musrati, who could not continue the match our Football A Team played against Ajax in the UEFA Europa League on September 26, 2024, due to pain in his left groin, has been diagnosed with a strain and edema in his left adductor longus muscle.
Treatment for Al-Musrati has been initiated by our medical team."
