Bad news for Beşiktaş: Defender injured
Bad news has arrived for Beşiktaş following the international break. The Black and Whites announced that a strain and hemorrhage were detected in the left posterior thigh muscle of center-back Eric Bailly.
Competing in both the Süper Lig and the UEFA Europa Conference League this year, Beşiktaş had gained good momentum with the arrival of Rıza Çalımbay. Çalımbay has been battling injuries since the day he took office.
Bad news regarding Bailly arrived for the Black and Whites as the international break concluded. Beşiktaş announced that a strain and hemorrhage were detected in Eric Bailly’s left posterior thigh muscle.
Beşiktaş made the following statement regarding the matter:
“Following an MRI scan performed on our player Eric Bailly, who felt pain in his left posterior thigh, a strain and hemorrhage were detected in the posterior thigh muscle (biceps femoris). The treatment process for Eric Bailly has been initiated by our medical team.”
