Bad news for Fenerbahçe from Eda Erdem!
The Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball Team has released a statement regarding the health status of Eda Erdem, who suffered an injury during the Turkish Airlines match.
National volleyball player Eda Erdem, who plays for Fenerbahçe and had a statue of her erected on March 8, International Women's Day, was injured during the Turkish Airlines match.
In a statement regarding captain Eda Erdem posted on its social media account, the Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball Team stated the following:
"Following the injury our captain Eda Erdem sustained during the Turkish Airlines match, examinations and tests have revealed a partial tear in the anterior talofibular (ATF) ligament of her right ankle, as well as intra-articular edema, and her treatment has begun. We wish our captain a speedy recovery and hope she returns to health as soon as possible."
