Bad news for Galatasaray from UEFA! Penalties upheld...
UEFA has upheld the 2-match suspension given to Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk due to the incidents that occurred following the Sparta Prague match.
UEFA had previously issued a 2-match suspension to Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk, a 1-match suspension to Kaan Ayhan, who received a red card after the match, and a 3-match suspension to performance analyst Serhat Doğan for assault, following the incidents that took place after the Yellow-Reds were eliminated from the Europa League play-off round with a 4-1 loss to Sparta Prague.
Galatasaray had appealed all these decisions to UEFA, but the appeals committee has upheld the penalties in question.
