Bad news for Olympiacos from Filip Petrusev: Regular season over
Filip Petrusev, who plays for Turkish Airlines EuroLeague team Olympiacos, has been ruled out for the remainder of the regular season following an injury sustained in the recent match against ASVEL.
Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 31 saw Olympiacos comfortably defeat ASVEL on their home court. However, Filip Petrusev, one of the regular rotation players in the frontcourt, suffered an injury during the game.
According to a report by Eurohoops, the Serbian player, who sustained an injury to his left knee bone, will be sidelined for approximately three weeks. Consequently, it has been stated that Petrusev is not expected to play in the remainder of the EuroLeague regular season.
Petrusev is not expected to feature in the final week's match where Olympiacos will host our representative Fenerbahçe Beko.
Filip Petrusev, who has appeared in 15 games in the EuroLeague this season, averaged 5.5 points and 3.4 rebounds.
