Baki Ersoy: Kayserispor is our passion

MHP Kayseri Deputy Baki Ersoy responded to questions asked of him regarding Kayserispor through a post on social media.

Ersoy used the following expressions in his statement on social media:

"In recent days, I have been receiving the same question from many of our fellow citizens, both via social media and by phone. The question is, 'Are you still involved with Kayserispor?' My answer to this question is very clear. Kayserispor is our passion. Especially over the last 11-12 years, we have been part of every difficulty, every struggle, and every critical period our club has experienced. I am not going to go into a long explanation of what we have done during this process.

However, I believe that the Kayseri public knows very well what we have done, when we took responsibility, and how we fought for Kayserispor. We held consultations before our President Ali Çamlı took office, and since he took office, we have been evaluating and closely following developments, especially regarding our club's financial structure.

Because for me, the most important issue has always been for Kayserispor to remain standing and to achieve a sustainable structure. Today, our head coach, sporting director, general coordinator, and the executive colleagues who manage this structure are on duty at our club. Transfers, technical choices, and sporting plans are their responsibility. For this reason, I am not involved in the technical operations one-on-one. However, let everyone know this; loving Kayserispor is not just about being by its side during successful days.

The real issue is being able to stand by it during difficult days as well. When there is an issue we can do something about or contribute to for Kayserispor, no one needs to look for an address. They find me in this city, and they will find me again. Just as we were yesterday, we are by Kayserispor's side today, and we will continue to be by its side tomorrow. Because our bond with Kayserispor is not established through positions, duties, or terms; it is established through the heart. We have not spent time talking about what we have done. Thank God, what we have done has already been talked about, and it continues to be talked about. We are the innkeepers."
