Bandırmaspor President Onur Göçmez steps down
Bandırmaspor Club President Onur Göçmez, who was elected to the Beşiktaş Club Board of Directors, has stepped down from his position.
Onur Göçmez, the club president of Teksüt Bandırmaspor, one of the teams in the Trendyol 1st League, has stepped down from his position.
In a statement released on the club's social media account, it was announced that Göçmez, who was also elected to the Beşiktaş Club Board of Directors, has left the Bandırmaspor Club management.
The statement, which noted that Onur Göçmez will continue his role as honorary president, included the following remarks:
"Mr. Gürel Soylu has become the new chairman of the board of directors. Our current board of directors will continue its duties under the presidency of Gürel Soylu and will continue its facility investments without slowing down, in coordination with the city's dynamics. A collective struggle will be waged to reach the sporting goals set at the beginning of the season. Our expectation from our city and our fans is that they stand by our team as they always have in this ongoing struggle. Our honorary president Onur Göçmez and our president Mr. Gürel Soylu will hold a press conference next week regarding the developments."
