Barcelona removes Dani Alves from list of legends
Following his 4.5-year prison sentence for sexual assault, Dani Alves has received more bad news from his former club, Barcelona. The Catalan team has removed the former Brazilian footballer from its list of club legends.
Former footballer Dani Alves, who previously played for Barcelona, was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison due to sexual assault charges.
In line with this, according to a report by Diario Sport, Barcelona removed Dani Alves from the 'Barcelona legends list' group, which includes 102 former players, following the official announcement of the verdict.

Dani Alves, who wore the Barcelona jersey during his first stint from 2008 to 2016 and again between 2021 and 2022, made 408 appearances for the Catalan team. Scoring 22 goals and providing 105 assists in these matches, Dani Alves celebrated winning 23 trophies with the club.
