Barcelona wins El Clasico
The Spanish King's Cup final featured 'El Clasico'. In the massive match played in Seville, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid faced off to take the trophy home.
In a match that ended 2-2 in regular time, Barça emerged victorious after a goal by Kounde in the second period of extra time to claim the cup. Arda Güler, who came on in the second half, provided the assist for Tchouameni's goal.
FC Barcelona, which started 'El Clasico' effectively, took a 1-0 lead with a stunning goal from outside the penalty area by Pedri in the 28th minute. The first half of the big match concluded with the Catalan side leading 1-0.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti began making changes for the second half. First bringing on Mbappe, Ancelotti then sent both Luka Modric and Arda Güler into the game in the 55th minute.
Arda Güler entered the game in place of Dani Ceballos.

The Whites equalized in the 70th minute. Mbappe went down after a challenge from Frankie de Jong. The French player stepped up to take the resulting free kick and found the back of the net to bring the score to 1-1.
Seven minutes after that goal, Real Madrid took the lead. From a corner kick, Arda Güler delivered a pinpoint cross, and Aurelien Tchouameni scored with a header to put his team ahead.

Playing in his first career 'El Clasico', Arda Güler was the one who provided the assist for Tchouameni's goal.
Barcelona equalized in the 84th minute. Following a pass from Yamal, Ferran Torres slipped behind the defense, rounded the advancing Belgian goalkeeper Courtois, entered the penalty area, and scored to restore balance to the match: 2-2.

In the 90th plus 6th minute, the referee awarded a penalty in favor of Barcelona following a move by Asencio. However, after protests, he went to VAR, canceled the penalty, and showed a yellow card to Raphinha.
The regular time of the match ended in a 2-2 draw, and the game went to extra time.

In the 116th minute of the second period of extra time, Barcelona brought the score to 3-2 with a long-range goal from Kounde.

With no further goals in the match, Barcelona became the owner of the cup. Barça manager Hansi Flick continued his streak of not losing finals.
