In the first match of the Ziraat Turkish Cup Group C, Başakşehir drew 2-2 away against Galatasaray.
Following the match, Başakşehir Football Club Vice President Mesut Altan made statements to the press.
Stating that they thanked Galatasaray Club for their hospitality, Altan said, "Unfortunately, after such a great match, our agenda has once again become the referee.
Especially in the first half, the referee either did not see or did not want to see a clear penalty and red card in the Crespo incident.
That is all we have to say about this for now.
Especially after the match we will play at our home ground, our president will make a statement regarding the evaluation of the first half, as well as the TFF, the MHK, and the current referee agenda," he said.
