Başakşehir responds to Mario Lemina rumors: "We have had no interest or contact"
Başakşehir President Göksel Gümüşdağ has denied transfer rumors regarding Galatasaray's Mario Lemina, stating that they may still make 1-2 additions.
Başakşehir has responded to claims that they are interested in Galatasaray player Mario Lemina through a statement from club president Göksel Gümüşdağ.
Speaking on the reports that emerged as the final part of the transfer window approaches, Gümüşdağ stated that there has been no contact regarding Lemina. In his assessment to HT Spor, Gümüşdağ said, "We have had neither interest in nor any contact with Lemina so far."
The Başakşehir President stated that their transfer activities are not completely closed. Indicating that new moves could come in their squad planning, Gümüşdağ said, "I don't know what will happen until the last day of the transfer window. We will also sign 1-2 players by the last day."
32-year-old Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina had signed a new contract with Galatasaray this summer.
