Bayern Munich's 'Super League' statement! 'An empty dream'

Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has made striking remarks regarding the Super League project spearheaded by Real Madrid and Barcelona.
In his statement, Dreesen said, "For us, the Super League is never an alternative. Our stance on this matter is unwavering. It is incomprehensible and frustrating that those who initiated this ignore our decisions and claim they want to see Bayern there. This shows how little respect they have for football."
The Bayern CEO added, "My colleagues with whom I communicate at the European Club Association also remain committed to this clear stance. We deeply believe that national leagues are the foundation of every club. This also applies to Dortmund."
Stating that they do not want anything to disrupt competition, Dreesen said, "Whether it is the Super League or anything else, we will not allow competition to disrupt the static nature of European football. Furthermore, I cannot imagine a competition that does not include the two most important leagues in Europe. The English Football Association is also making clear regulations regarding the Super League."
Regarding the claim that matches in the Super League project would be broadcast for free, he said, "If they are going to broadcast the matches for free, I cannot understand where the billions of euros will come from. It is an extremely suspicious situation. Did they find a money bin like Scrooge McDuck? Even if they did, it doesn't matter to us. The Super League continues to be an empty dream."
