Fenerbahçe's Brazilian defender answered questions from the press after the match.

When reminded that Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic had criticized the defense after the Galatasaray derby, Becao noted the following:

"Everyone has their own opinion. When we lose as a team, we all lose. When you lose such a derby, you must have made mistakes in defense. I would have liked to be on the field that day. When you lose a derby, it means we didn't defend as a team. They are right about this. All players need to look at themselves, engage in self-criticism, and do their best to correct their mistakes."

Emphasizing that he feels physically good, Becao continued:

"I always keep myself ready. Of course, our coach decides who will play, but I always keep myself ready. I work in the best way possible so that when the opportunity comes, I can show it. I am happy that I helped my team today and that we won. Because in this situation, the winner is Fenerbahçe."

Speaking about the changes in team defense, Becao stated, "The center-back duo is constantly changing because we have many options and quality in defense in our team. Here, too, the winner is Fenerbahçe. Our coach makes his choice, and when the chance to play comes to us, we do our best. This is the common goal of all of us."
