Berkay Vardar has quietly returned to Beşiktaş!
Berkay Vardar, whom Beşiktaş loaned out at the beginning of the season, has made a surprise return to the black-and-white club. The 21-year-old midfielder, unable to find playing time at Sheriff Tiraspol, waived his outstanding salary and headed back to Beşiktaş.
Beşiktaş has seen a development regarding Berkay Vardar, whom they sent on loan to the Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol at the beginning of the season. The young footballer returned to the black-and-white club without the news being announced.
According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, the 21-year-old player was only able to play in 10 matches and saw 451 minutes of action with Sheriff Tiraspol.
According to the report, the player waived his salary for the month of February. While no official statement has been made by the Beşiktaş club regarding the matter, it has been learned that Berkay Vardar is continuing his training with the youth team.
