Goalkeeper Berke, who started in the first 11 for the French team, remained on the pitch for 90 minutes. The Turkish goalkeeper, who kept a clean sheet, did not allow a goal during the 3 retaken penalty kicks.
Berke saved the penalty taken by Artem Dovbyk in the 82nd minute, but the kick was retaken because a Lille defender entered the penalty area early during the shot.
In the 83rd minute, Dovbyk stepped up to the ball once again and took his shot. Berke Özer saved this ball as well, but the penalty was retaken again because his foot was not on the goal line.
In the 85th minute, Soule took the penalty, which was retaken for the 3rd time. Berke did not allow a goal on the ball coming to his left and saved a penalty for the 3rd time in a row.
