Beşiktaş announces injury of young player Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu
Beşiktaş has provided an update on the health status of its young player, Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu, who was injured during the UEFA Conference League match.
Beşiktaş has released a statement regarding the health status of Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu, who was injured in the match against St. Patrick's in the UEFA Conference League. It was stated that the 18-year-old footballer was diagnosed with a strain and partial tear at the musculotendinous junction of the left upper thigh muscle (rectus femoris).
The young player entered the game in the 64th minute but was forced to leave the pitch just three minutes later, in the 67th minute, due to pain. Following the examinations, it was announced that Mustafa Erhan will be sidelined for at least 3-4 weeks.
In its statement, Beşiktaş said, "Following the injury sustained by our footballer Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu during the UEFA Conference League 3rd Qualifying Round second leg match against St. Patrick's, MRI scans revealed a strain and partial tear at the musculotendinous junction of the left upper thigh muscle." While the treatment process for Mustafa Erhan continues, the young player is expected to return to the pitch as soon as possible.
