Beşiktaş's decision on Rafa Silva
Setting out with the goal of reaching the UEFA Europa League in the new season, Beşiktaş is determined to keep its Portuguese star Rafa Silva on the team. Head Coach Solskjaer sees Silva as indispensable.
Beşiktaş, which is planning to compete in the UEFA Europa League after finishing the Super Lig season in third place, has made a decision regarding the future of its Portuguese star Rafa Silva.
The Black and Whites will definitely keep Rafa Silva, whose name has been linked to transfer rumors recently, in their squad. The 31-year-old player, who is highly valued by Head Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, will not be allowed to leave unless an astronomical offer is received.
Rafa Silva will once again be the main protagonist and leader of Beşiktaş in the new season. Head Coach Solskjaer wants to use Rafa Silva exclusively in the number 10 position in the new season. In line with this, the team will sign a star striker as well as a high-scoring left winger.
Thus, Rafa Silva will not have to play in those positions from time to time during the season.
Rafa, who played in 43 matches this season, recorded 15 goals and 10 assists.
