Beşiktaş issues update on UEFA and obligations
Beşiktaş Club has announced in an official statement that its obligations under the UEFA Settlement Agreement have been successfully fulfilled.
In its statement, Beşiktaş said, "A compliance agreement covering the 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25, and 2025/26 seasons was signed between our club and the UEFA Club Financial Control Body on August 31, 2022. We have been notified by the UEFA Club Financial Control Body that our club has fulfilled its primary obligations within the specified period and has successfully completed the process."
The statement, which emphasized that all operational, financial, and sporting restrictions have ended as of the new season, continued: "As a result of our company having fulfilled the primary obligations undertaken within the scope of the Settlement Agreement signed between our company and UEFA on August 31, 2022, as of the 2025/2026 season, the relevant decision regarding the matter was notified to us by the First Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) on June 17, 2026 (today).
This decision demonstrates that the efforts carried out by our company in the field of financial discipline and sustainability have been positively received by UEFA, and it marks an important turning point for the strengthening of Beşiktaş's corporate structure."
