Beşiktaş's new center-back arrives in Istanbul tonight
Continuing its transfer efforts ahead of the new season, Beşiktaş has announced that it will bring 33-year-old Brazilian center-back Gabriel Paulista to Istanbul this evening.
Continuing its squad planning for the new season, Beşiktaş is preparing to announce its first transfer.
In a statement released by the black-and-white club, it was stated that Gabriel Paulista will arrive in Istanbul today at 22:45.
The statement read, "Brazilian footballer Gabriel Paulista will travel from Brazil to Istanbul to hold talks with our club and will be at Istanbul Airport today at 22:45. Gabriel Paulista will enter our country through the International Arrivals Terminal. Respectfully," it said.
WHO IS GABRIEL PAULISTA?
Starting his football career at Taboao Serra, Gabriel Paulista later played for Vitoria.
After signing with Villarreal from Vitoria and subsequently transferring to Arsenal, the Brazilian center-back agreed terms with Valencia in 2017 and returned to LaLiga.
Signing with Atletico Madrid during the 2023/24 mid-season transfer window, Paulista left the team after his contract expired.
