In a statement on its social media account, Beşiktaş announced that it has parted ways with head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The statement released on the black-and-white club's social media account read as follows:
"We have parted ways with our Head Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst. We thank Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his staff for their services and wish them success in their future careers. Serdar Topraktepe will serve as the interim head coach of our Football A Team."
The 49-year-old Dutch coach managed a total of 20 matches at the helm of the black-and-white team, including 12 in the Süper Lig, 5 in the UEFA Europa League, 2 in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers, and 1 in the TFF Super Cup. Giovanni van Bronckhorst recorded 10 wins, 4 draws, and 6 losses in those matches.
