Beşiktaş officially announces Rıza Çalımbay

In Beşiktaş, head coach Şenol Güneş resigned after the first Bodo/Glimt match in the UEFA Conference League, and technical director Burak Yılmaz resigned after the most recent Bodo/Glimt match.

Following reports that Rıza Çalımbay would be brought in as head coach, an official statement came from Beşiktaş.

Beşiktaş announced the appointment of Rıza Çalımbay through a post on its X account.

The statement included the following:

"Welcome Home, Rıza Çalımbay

Rıza Çalımbay has been appointed as the head coach of our Football A Team. The statement sent by Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. to the Public Disclosure Platform is as follows:

'An agreement has been reached with Mr. Rıza Çalımbay regarding the head coaching position of our Professional Football Team as of 10.11.2023 (today).'

Our new head coach, Rıza Çalımbay, will hold a press conference tomorrow (November 11) at 12:00 at the BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities. We wish Rıza Çalımbay great success in his new role and present this to the public's information with our respects."
