Beşiktaş requested, the Clubs Association supported! The TFF will have the final say
It has been stated that the Clubs Association has responded positively to the 10 percent deviation proposal brought to the agenda by Beşiktaş, and that the final decision will be made by the TFF.
With the start of the 2026/27 season in the Trendyol Süper League approaching, a new application regarding clubs' spending limits has come to the agenda. As teams continue their transfer and squad planning for the league, which will begin on August 14, a request for flexibility in limits has been taken to the Turkish Football Federation.
According to the report in the Sabah newspaper, Beşiktaş submitted its proposal for a 10 percent deviation to be applied to spending limits to the Clubs Association. It was reported that the Clubs Association, chaired by Ertuğrul Doğan, responded positively to this proposal and took the matter to the TFF.
The Federation had previously announced the team spending limits for clubs for the 2026/27 season. The final decision on whether the request will be accepted will be made by the TFF.
ANNOUNCED SPENDING LIMITS
In the limits previously determined by the TFF, the highest amount was allocated to Galatasaray with 9 billion 6 million 596 thousand 835 TL. Fenerbahçe ranked second with 6 billion 330 million 32 thousand 702 TL, and Beşiktaş ranked third with a limit of 4 billion 123 million 397 thousand 974 TL.
