Beşiktaş's match against Hapoel Beer-Sheva to be played in Batumi
It has been claimed that Beşiktaş's home match against Hapoel Beer-Sheva in the UEFA Europa League will be moved to Batumi.
A new claim has emerged regarding the venue for Beşiktaş's UEFA Europa League league phase match against Israeli side Hapoel Beer-Sheva. It has been suggested that the black-and-white team may play the match, which is scheduled as a home game for Thursday, November 26, 2026, outside of Turkey.
Journalist Mehmet Arslan, in his assessment on the Libre Sports YouTube channel, claimed that the match would be played in the Georgian city of Batumi. Arslan pointed out that Turkish teams have been playing their matches against Israeli teams abroad.
Arslan stated, "Beşiktaş will also play its match on November 26 in the city of Batumi, Georgia. There is a 20,000-capacity stadium there. I believe Serdal Adalı also consulted the President on this matter. Once the President approved, they moved the match to Georgia."
