Beşiktaş's potential opponent in the Europa League has been determined

Beşiktaş's next potential opponent on their UEFA Europa League roadmap has been determined. If the Black and Whites overcome the Hradec Kralove hurdle in the third qualifying round, they will be paired with Lithuanian representative Kauno Zalgiris in the play-off round.

Beşiktaş will host Hradec Kralove at Tüpraş Stadium in the third qualifying round second leg. Following the 1-0 score in the first match, this upcoming clash will determine whether the Black and Whites advance to the Europa League play-off round.

Kauno Zalgiris, meanwhile, was eliminated by Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round. Having lost the first leg 5-0, the Lithuanian team was also defeated 2-1 by their opponent in the return leg, bidding farewell to the Champions League and earning the right to continue their journey in the Europa League play-off round.

If Beşiktaş eliminates Hradec Kralove, the first leg of the play-off round will be played in Istanbul on August 20. The return leg will take place in Lithuania on August 27.

Should the Black and Whites be eliminated by Hradec Kralove, their European adventure will continue in the UEFA Conference League. In that scenario, Beşiktaş will face the winner of the Panathinaikos-CSKA 1948 tie.
