Beşiktaş secures play-off spot with home victory: Here is their new opponent

Beşiktaş qualified for the play-offs by defeating St. Patrick's 3-2 in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round at home.

St. Patrick's, which won a penalty in just the 9th second of the match, took a 1-0 lead with Carty's penalty goal in the 3rd minute. Then, in the 34th minute, the visitors extended the lead to two with a goal from McLaughlin.

Beşiktaş brought the score to 2-1 in the 43rd minute with a goal from Demir Ege Tıknaz following a scramble in the penalty area before the first half ended. The first half of the match concluded with the Irish side leading 2-1.

Starting the second half of the match quickly, Beşiktaş leveled the score at 2-2 in the 49th minute with a goal from Tammy Abraham. In the 79th minute of the match, Joao Mario put Beşiktaş ahead 3-2.

With this result, Beşiktaş secured a 7-3 aggregate victory and advanced to the Conference League play-off stage.
