In the 29th week of the Süper Lig, Beşiktaş hosted league leaders Galatasaray. While the Black and Whites left the match with a 2-1 victory, Galatasaray suffered a significant loss in their championship pursuit.
With this result, the Black and Whites ended the Yellow and Reds' unbeaten streak. Following the match, a series of posts were made from Beşiktaş's social media account. The Squid Game-themed video, in particular, became a trending topic on social media.

The video included footage of Okan Buruk jumping during the Fenerbahçe match.
Galatasaray Deputy Chairman İbrahim Hatipoğlu reacted to the post in question. Speaking after the match, Hatipoğlu stated, "I would like to start my speech by congratulating Beşiktaş. They welcomed us well and hosted us well here, and while I wanted to thank them for that, I am criticizing them for the disrespectful post they just made. They targeted Okan Buruk. I expect an apology and for them to remove the post. The post they made did not suit 'Gentleman Beşiktaş' at all!"
