Beşiktaş to pay approximately 1 million Euros in compensation to Tyler Boyd
The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled that Beşiktaş must pay approximately 1 million Euros in compensation to its former player, Tyler Boyd.
In a statement sent by Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ to Borsa Istanbul and published on the Public Disclosure Platform, it was stated: "According to the decision of the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) notified to us on March 12, 2024, it has been decided that 956 thousand Euros shall be paid to professional A-team player Tyler Boyd, who terminated his contract with our company on November 4, 2022, as termination compensation, along with 5 percent annual interest accruing from November 4, 2022. The legal process regarding the relevant decision is ongoing."
