Beşiktaş's total debt has been announced
The debt of the black-and-white club was announced at the Beşiktaş Club's 2024 Ordinary Administrative and Financial General Assembly Meeting.
In the meeting held at the ICC Istanbul Congress Center, audit committee member Özgür Şentürk stated in his speech that the black-and-white club's debt as of May 31, 2024, was 12 billion 271 million 873 thousand 83 Turkish Lira.
Beşiktaş Club General Secretary Kaan Şakul, on the other hand, stated that the club's net debt was 8 billion 429 million Turkish Lira, adding, "The figures announced by the audit committee are correct. I underlined that the figures subject to the release are also figures kept according to inflation accounting."
Tense moments were also experienced at the Financial General Assembly. A scuffle broke out as reactions were directed toward former president Ahmet Nur Çebi.
