Beşiktaş updates its crest

As Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club celebrates its 122nd anniversary, the club crest has been updated to better reflect its brand value.

The new design has been revised in accordance with modern branding standards to offer a clearer and more aesthetic appearance on digital platforms and in print applications.

Presented to the fans, the new crest retains its traditional form while incorporating several notable changes.

Here are the innovations:

TURKISH FLAG HIGHLIGHTED

The Turkish flag, which Beşiktaş proudly carries on its crest, has been made larger in the new design.

The corners of the flag have been aligned with the borders of the black pillar, providing a more harmonious look with the crest. Additionally, the shade of red has been made to match the official color of the Turkish flag exactly.

BLACK CONTOURS STRENGTHENED

The black contour on the outer edge of the crest has been thickened and brought to the same level as the white contour. As a result, the crest has achieved a clearer and stronger appearance in both digital environments and print applications.

INTEGRITY ACHIEVED

The "BJK" letters on the crest have been brought to the same size. Furthermore, the thickness of the "1903" numerals has been balanced to strengthen typographic harmony.

Without breaking away from its deep-rooted history, this new crest, which has gained a more modern and striking appearance, has been presented to the black-and-white fans.
