Beşiktaş's young star Semih Kılıçsoy: 'My goal is to become a permanent fixture in the first team'

Beşiktaş Magazine highlighted the commitment and goals of young Beşiktaş footballer Semih Kılıçsoy to deliver consistent performances. Kılıçsoy stated that wearing the Beşiktaş jersey and being part of the first team holds great importance for him.

According to the report in T24, as a player who grew up in the Beşiktaş youth academy, Kılıçsoy noted that reaching the first-team level and becoming a permanent fixture at this level were among his dreams, and he continues to work toward this goal.

Furthermore, it was stated that while increased social media and fan interest provide him with motivation, there has been no radical change in his life, as he continues to engage in the same activities during his free time and remains occupied with training.

"I have been wearing the Beşiktaş jersey since I was 10 years old, and the biggest dream for all my friends and me in the youth system was to wear the first-team jersey. We work and put in the effort for this.

I am very happy to be able to play for the first team today.

Now, I am working to become a permanent fixture and to contribute to Beşiktaş consistently; I hope it continues as I have targeted.

Not much has changed. I was a Beşiktaş player back then, and I am one today. Of course, people have started to recognize me more, messages on social media have increased, and more people want to take photos, but there has been no radical change in my life.

I still do the same things in my free time, and apart from that, I already have training sessions and matches. Of course, I enjoy the interest from people and fans coming to chat with me; it is motivating.

Yes, I was living on the European side with my family, but since commuting from there to the BJK Nevzat Demir Facilities would take a lot of my time, I chose to stay at the facilities.

Since I was promoted to the first team, I have been staying at the facility except on my days off."
