Adana Demirspor lost to 24Erzincanspor on penalties and was eliminated from the Turkish Cup.
In the Ziraat Turkish Cup 5th round match, Süper Lig side Adana Demirspor faced 24Erzincanspor, a team from the 2nd League Red Group. The regular time and extra time of the match at the New Adana Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw.
24Erzincanspor took a 2-0 lead with goals from Ziya Alkurt in the 65th minute and Özkan Yiğiter in the 77th minute. Adana Demirspor fought back with goals from Edouard Michut in the 89th minute and Emre Akbaba in the 90+1st minute.
The match went to extra time following the 2-2 tie. No goals were scored during extra time, and the game proceeded to a penalty shootout.
24Erzincanspor defeated Adana Demirspor 7-6 on penalties to advance to the round of 16 in the cup. Adana Demirspor has been eliminated from the tournament.
