Boston Celtics crush Miami Heat!

In the NBA Eastern Conference playoff first-round series opener, the Boston Celtics hosted the Miami Heat. The Celtics, who never trailed during the game and extended their lead to as many as 34 points, finished with a 114-94 victory.

With this win, the Celtics have taken a 1-0 lead in the series.

JAYSON TATUM LEADS IN SCORING

For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum recorded his first career playoff triple-double with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Additionally, Derrick White contributed 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists; Kristaps Porzingis added 18 points and 4 rebounds; Jaylen Brown finished with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists; and Sam Hauser scored 12 points.

For the Heat, Bam Adebayo recorded 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists; Delon Wright had 17 points and 3 assists; Jaime Jaquez Jr. tallied 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists; and Tyler Herro finished with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
