Ahmet Çakar, who was subject to a detention order as part of a betting and match-fixing investigation in football but was hospitalized due to a heart condition, arrived at the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to provide his statement following his treatment process. Ahmet Çakar was released after the procedures.

The detention order for Çakar, which had been lifted due to health issues, was processed after he was discharged from the hospital. Çakar was brought to the courthouse to provide his statement within the scope of the investigation in question. Following his statement at the courthouse, Çakar was released under judicial control.
WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of the "betting" and "match-fixing" investigation in football conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 20 people, including Fenerbahçe captain Mert Hakan Yandaş, Galatasaray player Metehan Baltacı, and former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak, were arrested. 10 suspects, including Super Lig referee Zorbay Küçük, had been released under judicial control conditions.
