BREAKING NEWS: Fred's suspension announced
Breaking news... The PFDK has handed Fenerbahçe's Fred a 3-match suspension.
The suspension for Fenerbahçe's Brazilian player Fred, who received a red card in the Kayserispor match, has been announced.
The Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has handed Fred a 3-match suspension and a 39,000 TL fine for "insulting the match official."
Meanwhile, Mert Hakan Yandaş, who was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the same match, was given a 2-match suspension and a 78,000 TL fine.
THEY WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THE SUPER CUP
Since neither player received a suspension of 4 matches or more, both will be eligible to play in the upcoming Super Cup match against Galatasaray.

MONDİHOME KAYSERİSPOR - FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. In the Trendyol Super Lig match, FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. athlete FREDERICO RODRIGUES DE PAULA SANTOS was punished with a 3-OFFICIAL MATCH SUSPENSION and a 39,000 TL FINE due to his insult towards the match official,
In the same match, FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. athlete MERT HAKAN YANDAŞ was punished with a 2-OFFICIAL MATCH SUSPENSION and a 78,000 TL FINE, in addition to the match he was already required to miss due to his double yellow card, for his unsportsmanlike conduct towards the match official following his expulsion.
