British referee Michael Oliver will officiate the World Cup Qualifier match between the National Team and Spain.
The match between the National Football Team and Spain in the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group C will be officiated by British referee Michael Oliver.
The National Football Team will face Spain on Sunday, September 7, at 21:45 in the second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group E. The referee for the match, which will be played at Konya Metropolitan Stadium, is Michael Oliver from the English Football Association.
Oliver will be assisted by Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring. The fourth official of the match will be Christopher Kavanagh. Jarred Gavan Gillett will serve as VAR, and Darren England will serve as AVAR in the match.
Oliver has previously officiated 2 matches for the National Team. The British referee officiated the matches in which the national team defeated Kazakhstan 1-0 away in the 2015 European Championship Qualifiers Group A, and the Netherlands 4-2 in the 2021 World Cup Qualifiers Group G.
